In the summer of 2012 one of our sponsored students, Chris Ranthithi came to Canada. Chris spent his time touring and speaking with students at Pearson International College, the UVIC and Camosun College African Awareness Committee, and local high schools about his life in Lesotho. Talking to Canadians was filmed by Gary McNutt and features Chris interviewing the people he visited about climate change.
In 2014 Chris and Gary’s film won Best Amateur Documentary at the Lesotho Film Festival. Chris’ plans for the film in 2015 include TV air time and a high school presentation tour in Lesotho.
